This week in Maths, we have been learning about partitioning numbers into tens and ones (so, for example, the number 45 is made up of 40 + 5, or ten 4s and five 1s). Now we would like you to think about the numbers below, showing us them as 'tens and ones'.
As an example, let's think about the number 45 again. You could show us this number as 'tens and ones' by using four 10p coins and five 1p coins; or four sticks of 10 Lego bricks and five loose Lego bricks; or you could draw 4 'sticks' of ten and five ones, like this...
The numbers we want you to show us are: 24, 38 and 51.
