A busy week for everyone

Our classes have been working really hard this week. Have a look at some of the exciting things we have been doing:

 

Pine class have continued to settle in very well and have become a fantastic team. They have been listening beautifully and taking turns too. 

 

Fir class have been learning about co-ordinates and are now able to translate shapes on a grid.

 

Elm class have been busy in Science, testing different materials which they will use to make a waterproof, cosy coat for the character Beegu.

 

Ash class have been applying their understanding of addition to finding the perimeter of different shapes outdoors.

 

 

Willow class have been inspired by Ancient Greek vases and the British designer Laura Ashley. They created their own toga belts using block printing. 

 

 

Oak class have been looking at the text 'Voices in the Park' in Literacy. They've created a beautiful display to showcase the lovely vocabulary they have been using. 

 

Beech class have been challenging themselves in Maths. Look at their fabulous addition work:
