Homework:
Literacy
This week we have started looking at the stories of Elmer. Year 2 have focused their writing on planning a journey for Elmer through the jungle, using the Beebots. Year 1 have been exploring the different stories and have also been thinking of questions they would like to ask the zookeepers, ahead of our trip next week.
Maths
Year 1 have been revising their knowledge of number bonds to 10 and 100 and have also been looking at some addition word problems. In Year 2, we have been working on fractions and have been exploring wholes, halves and quarters.
Foundation
This week our focus has been computing. We have been using the Beebots and have created sequences to move the Beebots from one area of a map to another. We have used forwards, backwards, left and right commands to make our journeys more exciting.
