Example timetable

Example KS1 daily timetable

Below is an example of a daily timetable that you may like to follow to complete your child’s 3 hours of home learning each day.  In the left hand column we have provided a rough guideline on the time to spend on each challenge.  The right hand column is an example of the timings you might like to use throughout the day.

We know that you are juggling many things throughout the day so please do not feel that you have to stick to this example, it is just a guidance for how you may like to structure your day, and to show that you do not have to complete challenges back to back, without any breaks.

In this example we have split up each task with a break period and had shorter bursts of learning for each challenge.

You can order the subjects any way that you like.  You might want to start with the challenges that your child enjoys the least and work up to those that they enjoy and are more confident in.
