Let’s recap ratio and proportion this week!
You know the drill- watch the video, complete the tasks during the input and then complete the tasks at the end.
Writing
LO: Understand the ‘subject-3 examples- are all’ sentence type
Watch the input video to understand the sentence type.
Write 6 sentences using this sentence type. At least 3 must be about the topic of space and the planets.
Reading
This week we are going to focus on how to work out what vocabulary we aren’t sure on means.
Start with the PowerPoint- read through it, paying attention to it showing the sorts of questions you might encounter.
Then have a go at the questions at the end of the powerpoint
Topic
LO: Create an Anglo-Saxon meal
Using your notes from the last lesson, it’s time to create your meal!
Make sure you take pictures of your masterpiece!
Write up your instructions and ingredient list.
When tasting, make notes on the following things:
Texture
Taste
What is good about it?
How could you improve it?
Make sure you get other people to taste it too!

Have a look through the attached PowerPoint. Much like in class, see if you can work out the missing words and then practise using the word in sentences. Maybe try using it in a sentence with a semi-colon or in a De:de sentence.
