This week we are developing our understanding about Zog and helping him find out about the world around him. In our outdoor learning this week we are thinking of challenges that can be used to help Zog and then discussing our ideas with our friends. We have explained to Mrs Goude why we think it is a good challenge and then after we have worked on these we are investigating how to improve them even further.
We are also VERY COLD! Zog did not know what ice was so we have been continuing our investigations from before Christmas. We have learnt a story and a yoga session about Polar bears and also a counting song - We are sure Zog would be interested in making friends with these animals!
We have also learnt lots of new sounds in our phonics and then used this knowledge to write a sentence about what Zog can do - this has involved a sentence starter Zog can ....... . Everyone was very proud of the sounds that we used to complete it!
