We have had a a lovely week and we are looking forward to the Easter break.
In Literacy we have been looking at persuasive writing We used these skills to write a letter to Emily from Dear Greenpeace to convince her that there was not a whale in her pond! We looked at powerful vocabulary and explored the features of existing texts.
In Maths we have been looking at measuring length. We have used our knowledge of M, CM and MM to solve problems.
In History we searched some of the logbooks that our school kept over 100 years ago. We found some great facts and found out that our school field used to be the Manea allotments!
