Our learning walk this week was very interesting as we wanted to include all the characters that we had met in the stories. We discussed making a jungle boat, a jungle story, sandcastles to cheer Elmer up, a rocket to travel through the jungle, an ice pop shop, and a car with a huge boot so that they could all go on holiday! We have learnt a new trigraph and also been working on doubling in our maths. In other areas of learning we have been continuing with our minibeast explorations and also started a new skill using the balance bikes!
We were also sent a challenge to help Elmer. On his travels he found some jelly and wanted to know how to use it. We discussed what we already knew about making jelly and then watched a video of instructions. We then worked with Mrs Attrill to create our own tubs of jelly. It was delicious.
