Literacy
This week we have been writing our very own Elmer stories! We have created new characters and worked hard on describing our settings. Year 2 have also challenged themselves to include speech.
Maths
In Maths this week we have been solving word problems using the four operations. We have focused on reading the questions carefully and identifying the calculation needed.
Topic
We have started our Geography unit and have been learning about the 7 continents and 5 oceans. We have enjoyed learning songs to help us retain this new knowledge.
