This week, during our learning walk we came up with many different ideas to help Elmer. We wanted to create a tree house with a ladder so that Elmer could climb up, fruit and chocolate pies in the forest kitchen, creating our own pictures of Elmer using the big blocks, a house to keep Elmer warm in the snow and even an Elmer's cafe! Lots of wonderful ideas and discussions took place.
In literacy we have been focusing on recounts - one about our weekend and one about our school trip. We have been using our keywords and sound knowledge as well as ensuring that we form our letters correctly.
We have also been creating stories in our maths session involving subtraction was great fun!
