A spelling lesson for you today, based around the origins of a lot of our words (the word biography applies in this situation!)

Watch the video, then create a poster showing off the information you have learnt.

Practise the words each day this week and see if you can spell them all by the end of the week!

Topic

Science

LO: Conduct a scientific experiment

Recap your work from yesterday, make sure you have got everything planned.

Conduct your experiment.

Put your results into a well thought out table, write your conclusion and then evaluate your experiment- how would you improve it next time?

The Rest

- 15-20 minutes of reading a day

- TT Rockstars

- Collective worship:

Think about these scenarios: Situation 1: It is sports day and you are happy that you are in a relay team. However, you know that people in the other teams can run faster than you. Why would you need perseverance?
Situation 2: You find reading very difficult and you want to give up. Why would you need perseverance?

Situation 3: Your best friend seems grumpy and you are getting impatient with them as you just want to go and play! Why would you need perseverance?

Mrs Wordsmith- Apprehensive

Have a look through the attached PowerPoint. Much like in class, see if you can work out the missing words and then practise using the word in sentences. Maybe try using it in a sentence with a semi-colon or in a De:de sentence.

Furthermore, see if you can use it in this week’s writing tasks!
