Our learning
This week in out literacy work, we have continued working on non-fiction texts and information and learning how to record information and make notes from what we have read or watched. We have been looking at the layout of non-chronological reports and how they contain a title, subheadings and information.
In our maths work we have been beginning to learn how to tell the time to the hour and half hour. We have looked at the movement of the minute and hour hand and discussed how we know what time it is based on their position on the clock.
In our science we have concluded our animal topic by finding out about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores and grouping animals into these based on the foods that they eat.
