This week is a very busy week. We have a new trigraph to learn - URE! see the home link sheet for activities related to this sound.
We are working hard on our addition and subtraction as well and have played many games to share our knowledge.
We are also helping Elmer to design a healthy meal for the animals in the jungle and also investigating musical instruments to represent different characters.
In our learning walk this week we had many new ideas, we created a large car for Elmer and a smaller car for the butterfly to have a race, a castle hotel in the sandpit for the elephants to stay in, some medicine for Elmer in the potion area and a story 'Elmer has an adventure' in the forest school area. What wonderful ideas!
We are also sharing our jungle adventure with our parents in our production! We have learnt a story and many action songs to share and we hope that you enjoy it!
