Literacy:
This week we have been continuing with our Grammarsaurus unit, focussing on building single-clause sentences. We have been identifying verbs, subjects and the 'leftovers'. We have then added full stops and capital letters in the correct places.
Maths:
Year 2 have been creating fact families with numbers and have been writing the corresponding number sentences.
Year 1 have been looking at part-whole models. They have explored finding the parts and wholes of objects and numbers.
Topic:
We have started our Art topic and have been creating a range of spirals. We have used pencils, chalk and oil pastels to create our spirals.
Magic Day:
We have had a wonderful day celebrating Magic at Manea. We have written descriptions of a magical creature, decorated wizard hats and even learnt to use our magic wands to cast spells.
