An Odd Bug

Activities:

Read the story with your grown up – who are the characters in the story – what is the odd bug?
Talk to your grown up about what you would do if you could shrink yourself – where would you go? What would you see?
Go on a minibeast hunt with your child. Look for cobwebs. Can they find any spiders? Lift up a stone or a log. Can they see any beetles, slugs, woodlice or snails? Ask them to draw a picture of what they find and list the minibeasts – can they use all the new sounds that they have been learning?
