This week we are focussing on creating for the Fairy Tale Pets! We have been discussing the different characters that we see in the story and how we can help them. In maths we are looking at part and whole ie - 4 is the whole and it is made up of 2 and 2. In literacy we are writing our Christmas lists and using our phonic knowledge to support this. We are also finding out about the Christmas story and the events that are within it.

In drawing club this week we have been reading The Christmas Pine - it is a story all about an amazing Christmas tree. We then created drawings of our own trees. In the second session we created ways to bring the tree to England!
We were then set a task to create some Christmas trees of our own. We used our forest school session to collect lots of materials and then worked hard to decorate a tree shape - they were wonderful!
Look at our creations during our continuous provision this week. We have been very proud of our work and wanted to share with our families!
