This week our learning walk was related to our new book - Foggy, Foggy, Forest.  It has lots of different characters in it and we decided which one we wanted to create for.  We then talked to our friends to come up with different ideas and worked together to create!  Look at the work we did below:

In other learning this week we are using our phonic sounds to read and write, developing an awareness of how parts make a whole in maths and then using our imagination to create in our story telling.  Please see more information in the home link document above.  If you have any questions, please email Mrs Stevens on pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk

As part of our work on The 'Foggy, Foggy, Forest' we have looked at the different characters and then discussed their stories.  We then used our trike track to retell the stories.  We worked together in our groups to decide which story we would retell and then came the magic!  What wonderful retelling of the elements of the stories!  The sequence and action of the stories were remembered and even the specific wordings!  'What big eyes you have!' 'This one is just right' and even some of our own ideas 'Stop, don't eat her!' 'Get off my bed!' Well done everyone!

Grandad Bear sent us some of his old toys that he found in the loft!  We have had time to investigate the different toys and then discussed together what we noticed that was the same and what was different to the toys that we have today.  Look at the fun that we had investigating...
