In our learning walk this week we have been thinking about what we could do to help Zog, or help Zog help others!  We have come up with lots of ideas using our environment.  We have created castles in the sand, helpful potions, mud kitchen miracles and large constructions.  Have a look below!

In other learning we are developing our number knowledge, finding out about new digraphs and learning a new story - dragon stew!  We have then foraged for different things that could create our very own dragon stew - without using dragons!

We have explored musical instruments, identified how they are played and if they are soft or loud.  We have also discussed which instrument would be best for representing a stomping or sleeping dragon!

We have also explored how our construction and activities can be used to create new dragon friends for Zog!

What a busy week!  Please use the home link document above and if you require further information, please email pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk

As part of our work on families and who is important to us, we have had a circle time to discuss and then we drew our special people.....

Zog then sent us a new story to read...... 'Dragon Stew'.  It was all about some vikings who wanted to create some stew by using a DRAGON!  We were not happy about this so decided to create our own dragon stew in our forest school area and let them know all about it!  See the photographs below......  we foraged and discussed what our treasure could have been... from sausages, to cheese, meatballs and peas, with a wonderful spell to make it DELICIOUS!
