This week we have been discussing what we found out last week and how we can let Baby Bear know all about Diwali. We decided to share this information in our learning walk and discuss the different ways we could continue with this focus using the activities outside. Have a look below at our learning walk information and the photographs of some of our work.
In other learning we are continuing with writing our diaries, using our sound and handwriting knowledge to help us. We are also playing lots of games in our maths work to identify groups of more or fewer objects. We are also reading 'Bear Snores On' this week - Mrs Stevens' favourite book. The bears friends cooked popcorn over the fire so we have decided to recap all the ways to be safe around a firepit and then cook our very own!
Please see the information in the document above and if you have any questions, please email Mrs Stevens on pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk
We enjoyed the story 'Bear Snores on' this week and found out about the mouse and his friends having a party whilst the bear slept. The 3 bears were then so very proud of all our hard work this week so they sent us a present........ some corn to pop! We had a discussion about being safe around the firepit and how we had worked before to look after our friends. Mrs Stevens then lit the fire and showed us how little mouse had popped the corn. After that we enjoyed some popcorn of our own! It was DELICIOUS! Mrs Goude was very proud of how safe we had all been (she knows as she is the forest school QUEEN!)
