In our learning walk this week we have worked together to help Percy. We have used our knowledge of the stories that we have been reading and the characters that we are investigating. We have thought very carefully about how we can help Percy with all the jobs that he has to do and then worked together to create solutions! Have a read of our learning walk notes and then see our fabulous photos!
In other learning, this week we are discussing our favourite characters from the Percy stories and then writing a sentence about them. In maths we are ordering numbers to 10 and saying which is more or less. We are also exploring our environment, noticing plants, minibeasts and other exciting things. We are also investigating some of Percy’s favourite toys from when he was young, and then making our own! Use the home link document above for more detail and ways to support at home. In drawing club we found out how to draw one of Percy's friends - the mice! We listened hard to the instructions and then created our own........ WOW!
Percy set us a challenge of investigating our outside area. He thinks that we will have lots of things that are similar to the park, such as minibeasts and plants. He wanted to know what we could find. Look at the photos of our investigations. We are sure you can then discuss these at home - do you have any in your garden?
