Our learning walk this week was to help Santa! We came up with lots of different ideas and ways that we could ensure Christmas Eve was a success! Look at our learning walk info below for more detail.
In other learning we are continuing with applying our phonic skills in writing lists for Christmas to help Baby Bear. We are showing off our hard work in our handwriting for writing names in our cards and also developing our fine motor control even further with Christmas tree colouring and cutting and sticking!
In maths we are consolidating our counting and subitising skills in lots of different activities and ensuring that we use the language of more and less.
We are also finding more out about the nativity story, sharing our singing in our carol service and having great fun at our DISCO! What a wonderful way to finish the term.
All the reception team would like to say how proud we are of the children, their hard work and enthusiasm is infectious! Have the most wonderful Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
If you have any questions, or would like further information, please email Mrs Stevens on Pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk.
To celebrate the end of the term, Reception have been discussing their favourite place to challenge themselves in their learning. We investigated all of the different areas in our classroom environment and then discussed the many ways that we have worked very hard. We then chose which area was our absolute favourite!
