Use of PE Budget 2024–2025:
This year, our school has strategically used the PE and Sport Premium to promote physical literacy, enhance staff confidence, and broaden sporting opportunities—aligning with our vision of being a brilliant, inclusive, and active school.
Staff Development: We invested in high-quality CPD for teachers, enabling them to deliver more confident and engaging PE lessons across all key stages.
Wider Participation: Funding supported new extracurricular clubs (e.g., dance, yoga, and inclusive sports), increasing participation from less active pupils.
Equipment and Resources: We upgraded outdoor equipment and purchased inclusive sports gear to ensure all pupils can access a wide range of physical activities.
Intra and Inter-school Competitions: Part of the budget went toward transport and logistics for local tournaments, giving children more opportunities to represent the school and develop teamwork and resilience.
Active Lunchtimes: We trained pupil play leaders and midday staff to facilitate structured physical activity during break and lunchtimes.
These actions are helping to embed physical activity into our school culture, foster lifelong healthy habits, and ensure that every child thrives—hallmarks of a truly brilliant school.
