This week we are focusing our learning on the next Zog book - Zog and the flying doctors!. We have been talking about the action in the story, the repeated phrases and also the different characters. We have then discussed how we can help Zog, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout. Will we help another mermaid? Another Lion? Another unicorn? Or can we think about other characters that can be helped? Look at our learning walk below for our first ideas.
In other learning we have been developing our counting skills with numbers beyond 5. We have also been reciting to 30! We have noticed that 6 is 5 and one more, 7 is 5 and 2 more and 8 is 5 and 3 more!
In our literacy work we are continuing with writing our diaries and also writing words using our new digraphs and trigraphs! What superstars we are!
We are also finding out about a Woolly Mammoth and how to wash him, as well as spotting huge trees and doing some bark rubbings in our forest school session.
