This week we have been developing our understanding of the stories and characters in the Percy the Park Keeper adventures.  We have read 'After the storm' which showed how Percy helps all the animals in the park and we wanted to help too! We have used our learning walk to explore what we could do to help  Percy and the animals.  See some of the fantastic ideas below:

In other learning we have been continuing with our den making skills, making fabulous new homes for the characters, developing our skills of throwing and catching in PE, writing our diaries and other sentences in our literacy and investigating adding skills in our maths.  It has been a very busy week and we even managed to create some new inventions to help Percy with all his jobs.  Please see the home link document above and if you require any further information, please email Pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk

Helping Percy

Percy asked for our help - He knows that we have a den making area in our environment and needs some help to create even more new homes!  The challenge was taken and we worked very hard together to create: a home for the rabbits that had a table and picnic rug so they could enjoy their meals outside, a tent for the badger then two dens together, a small one for the hedgehog and a bigger one for the fox!  See the photos below:
