This week we have been very excited about our enterprise event, continuing with our maths mastery, writing treasure hunt clues and creating cards. Our favourite thing this week has been to continue looking after the ducks. We have worked hard together to solve problems including investigating objects to find out if they float and sink. We have then told the ducklings to try and help them when they go back to the pond in the farm.
Our learning walk continued our focus on the Percy the Park Keeper texts. We have thought about how we can help Percy and the animals and then have discussed what story that would be within. Look at our hard work below
We have been set a very important challenge from Percy the Park Keeper. The ducks will be going back to the farm soon and Percy would like them to be able to go in the pond. We have investigated lots of objects to find out what floats best and then we have explained our findings to the ducklings.
Now that we have investigated VERY CAREFULLY! We are able to swim the duckings and let them know everything that we have found out....... It was amazing! They learnt very quickly and we really enjoyed watching them.
