Autumn 2

Autumn 2- Week 3

This week, our pupils stepped back in time as we celebrated Stone Age Day in school. The children took part in a range of exciting hands-on activities that brought prehistoric life to the classroom.

Throughout the day, they worked together to build their own “Stonehenge” models using biscuits, showing great creativity (and a lot of self-control not to eat the building materials). They also experimented with ancient art techniques by creating cave paintings, using natural colours and patterns inspired by real archaeological discoveries. To top it off, the children enjoyed den building, designing and constructing shelters just as early humans once did.

The day was filled with teamwork, curiosity and imagination. The children had a fabulous time and we were so impressed by their enthusiasm and hard work. Well done, everyone, for making Stone Age Day such a memorable experience!

Autumn 2: Week 2.

Children in need:

We had a great time supporting Children in Need on Friday- and looked fabulous in our non-uniform and spotty clothes! We thought a lot about the things we are grateful for and had some wonderful ideas including: being loved, being healthy, our family and making memories.

We also worked as a team to make some giant pudsy pictures!

Autumn 2: Week 1.

This week has been another week of some fantastic experiences.

Our year three went swimming with the school for the first time! They really impressed us with their determination, even when some felt a little nervous.

On Wednesday, we had a professional golf coach, run a golf workshop with us. We were really focussed- and some even became 'masters', getting their ball in the hoop at a distance.
