This week we have finished our Kings, Queens and Castles unit in History and to celebrate we have had a day off timetable where we created lots of royal arts and crafts.
We started the day in the hall and designed our own shields. We then had a fruit and vegetable banquet. After that, we decorated our own crowns - using lots of colourful jewels.
In the afternoon, we watched a drawing tutorial and drew our own knights in armour. It was then time to head to the hall again where we learnt and performed a royal dance!
We have all had a wonderful day and it was a lovely way to celebrate all of our hard work over the last few weeks.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
