English
In our English lessons this week, the children have continued looking at the presentational and language features that are needed for a recount letter. The children will be writing their own letter next week from Rapunzel to a friend. Whilst planning our letters, Year 1 have been using the conjunction 'and' and year 2 have been using 'because' develop our ideas. We can’t wait to show you.
Maths
Year 1 this week have been focussing on the number 20. They have been able to order numbers 0-20, whilst using their addition skills to answer questions and developing their number bond knowledge. Year 2 have been looking at using arrays this week to help develop their knowledge of multiplication and division whilst creating group of various objects to help.
Topic
Our topic lessons this week for both Year 1 and 2 have been continuing with Art lessons. In each lesson, we have developed our skills within monoprint and created lots of different objects with this skill. We look forward to sharing our final monoprints with you soon.
