English:
This week we have written our own narratives, based on the Supertato stories. We created our own characters, settings and problems for our heroes to overcome. We have tried hard to make our writing as exciting as possible! After writing our stories, we then used our best handwriting to publish them.
Maths:
In Year 1 and 2 we have been completing some end of term assessments. We have all tried incredibly hard and should be very proud of our achievements!
Topic:
On Tuesday, we all really enjoyed our visit to St Nicholas Church in Manea. Reverend Mark was kind enough to share some of his favourite Bible stories with us and explain the significance of Saint Nicholas. We got to explore the Church and searched for 4 key things - the font; alter; organ and stained-glass windows.
We have had a tremendously busy half term and are all looking forward to our Easter breaks. Happy Holidays!
