A very exciting week! It is nearly baby bear's birthday...... we have to work with each other to come up with some ideas that we could do in our challenge areas.... what could we make in the big blocks? The construction area? The making table? Sandpit? We have been focusing on new sounds in our phonics and blending them together to create words. We have been exploring weight and pattern in maths as well as counting carefully. We have also made birthday cards for baby bear! What a busy week!

In our learning talk this week we discussed what we could create for Baby Bear's birthday. We looked at the environment and discussed all the different things that we could create and came up with: a hot wheels car, strawberry cake, a big birthday cake with candles, a new chair and chocolate cake!
We have been working very hard on our scissor control and have created birthday cards for Baby Bear. Our next challenge is to write our names correctly to put inside them!
