In our learning walk this week we have been using the new text 'Foggy. Foggy Forest'. This is a rhyming story all about the characters that we have been finding out about and some new ones which include a unicorn, fairy and an elf! We had to think carefully about the action within the story and how we can help the characters in our different areas. Lots of building, potions and creating were discussed! In other learning we are developing our awareness of part, part, whole in our maths and creating lots of different 'wholes' with various parts including puzzles, pictures and building. We have also been finding out about toys from the past. When Mummy Bear got the decorations down from the loft, she found a trunk full of old toys that Grandad Bear played with when he was little! It was great fun exploring this and talking about how they were similar and different to toys of today.

During our Drawing Club session we found out about Old Bear in one of his very famous stories when he got stuck in the loft! We talked about the different ways that we could help to get him down and then it was time to draw! We listened very hard to instructions to create our very own bears! We were very proud.
