This week our text is 'Once Upon a Time' and we are working hard creating for the different characters in the story. We had a very detailed learning walk to discuss how we can use our outside areas to develop different ideas. In other learning we have been continuing with our phonic work and blending sounds to read and write words, counting and saying more or less, then ensuring we have got equal groups when sharing out in our maths work and developing our printing work when creating cards.

In the story there are lots of other fairy tale characters and we have been listening to different stories with these characters in them. One of the stories was 'The Three Little Pigs'. In our drawing club we then found out how to draw a pig, with triangle ears, circle noses, four legs and and twirly tail! Look at how fabulous our drawings are:
We had a Zumba session! Mr Bishop organised this for us and it was wonderful! We listened very hard and followed all the instructions. Thank you so much Mr Bishop!
We then extended our knowledge of the 3 little pig story by creating our own dens in the forest area! We used pegs and had to tie knots! We made sure that we couldn't be seen by the wolf!
