This week, Year 1 and 2 have been busy becoming persuasive writers! After their fantastic trip to Church Farm, the children have started creating their very own leaflets to convince others to visit. It’s been wonderful to hear all the happy memories they’ve shared and to see how they’ve used exciting adjectives to bring their writing and drawings to life.
In Maths, Year 1 have been exploring the topic of time. They’ve been learning the days of the week and months of the year – and doing a brilliant job, helped along by some very catchy songs! Year 2 have been revisiting place value, working hard to build their confidence and consolidate everything they’ve learned so far.
Well done, everyone – what a brilliant week of learning!
