Year five and six residential updates!

The residential children are now due back at 3.30

Friday 17h October AM: The first full day must have worn the children out, because they all slept fabulously last night- and all were asleep around 10. They finished their day of activities with olympic activities and songs and riddles around the campfire. They enjoyed toasting marshmellows too.

Today they are completing their other activities, including taking part in nightline- a blindfolded obstacle course!

We are due back for the end of the school day- but will let the office know if we are any later. Please also bare in mind it does take a few minutes to get the children off the bus- we are likely to unload children into the hall, with their suitcases before asking parents to collect.

Thursday 16th October PM: Day two has been a busy one! So far today the children have already been firing arrows at archery, working as a team whilst climbing Jacob's ladder and using their problem solving skills whilst den building. They are looking forward to sitting around a camp fire this evening, and the adults are hoping for another good night's sleep.

Thursday 16th October AM Everybody had a great first night, and a good night's sleep. The children were up bright and early this morning (some earlier than others) ready for breakfast and eager to face today's activities.

Wednesday 15th October: 6.30 pm-

The children have settled into Kingswood. They have made their own beds (some with creative style) and have completed their first activities. Some of them have been building their own fires, whilst others have taken the leap of faith from the high ropes course. The children will now enjoy a scavenger hunt, followed then by putting their quizzing skills to the test.

Wednesday 15th October: 3.30pm- The year five and six team have arrived at Kingswood, and are looking forward to unpacking and getting started with their first activities.
