The purpose of this page is to share important information to support your child in their learning during the reception year.

Please see below a link to the new intake information which can be useful in settling your child into their new environment and will also support parents in understanding the first steps at Manea School.  

You will also see some links to further information including phonics, learning at home, our approach to learning and also some of the songs we use in the reception year.

Then for the important but..... You will see separate dated pages for you to see what your child is working on each week during their time in reception,  We hope you find the information useful and supportive at home.

Each week we will upload information about the activities that the children have been taking part in at school.  No more comments of 'I can't remember' as you will have full insight into the week!  We will also add a home learning link for you to consolidate the work at home - this may be through additional activities to do or throughout discussions.
