This week we are applying our phonics with lots of blending games, counting objects carefully and creating our own diaries for use after half term. We are also making our own porridge over the campfire and ensuring that we are safe. We have also started our weekly learning walks which share the ideas that we have come up with to support the 3 bear work. See the information below and the photographs of our adventures for more detail! We worked extremely hard and are very proud of our work. It has been a fantastic half term, settling into school and becoming very excited about our challenges in our learning. All the adults would like to say a HUGE well done and we are looking forward to more adventures after half term.

A special treat from the 3 bears...... we were sent some porridge. Mrs Stevens then said that has we had been very safe this half term, we could have a fire and cook the porridge on it! We had to ensure that we were safe and listening all the time. We stood outside the fire circle until Mrs Stevens called us in and then we watched the porridge cook. It smelt yummy! Mrs Stevens, Mrs Goude and Mrs Attrill then passed the porridge around for us to taste.... It was not too hot.... not too cold.... it was just right!
We were then very safe leaving the fire circle so we hope we can have another one soon!
Look at our amazing work in our challenge time. We are very proud!
