This week is all about BOOKS! It is book week and we are exploring Poppledown Town in our story 'When the Dragons Came' and creating our own towns....... and as part of book week we are finding out about a famous architect called Zaha Hadid. We are then going to be building and creating! We will find out about designing and thinking about our constructions before we build, just as architects do.
In maths we are focussing on how many ways to make numbers such as making number 7. In our literacy we will be writing our diaries and also writing sentences about objects that the dragons found in Poppledown Town. We are creating our own elements of Poppledown town in our learning walk so have a look below. We are continuing with this focus during our forest school session this week, where we will be den making, creating a place to hide from the dragons!
We are also going to be making our very own dragon eyes out of clay! What a busy week. Please use the homelink document above to consolidate learning at home and if you have any further questions, please email Mrs Stevens on pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk.
