On Wednesday, Year 1 and 2 had their Sports Day – and what a fantastic day it was! The sun was shining, and it was wonderful to see so many family members there to cheer everyone on. All the children took part in a range of exciting races, and it was brilliant to see such great team spirit. A big congratulations to the red team, who were the overall winners! In English, we’ve started looking at persuasion texts. The children are learning how to use their writing to share opinions and convince others. We’ll be using everything we learn to create our own leaflets to persuade people to visit Church Farm. We’re really looking forward to seeing the brilliant reasons the children come up with!
