October 2025

Our new School Council members have been elected. There are members from years 3, 4, 5 and 6, with a representative from each key stage two class. The members were presented with their badges in the Celebration assembly and introduced to the rest of the school. Members will visit our key stage one classes to collect their views on matters and make sure their voices are heard too.

November 2025

The school council meetings began last month and will usually take place once a fortnight.

The current focus is to raise money for new lunchtime equipment. The council have kicked this off with making plans for stalls at the upcoming enterprise fair.

They will be hosting a "Guess the name of the teddy bear" stall and also selling stockings, sacks, gift bags and tree skirts. The team have been coming up with some fabulously unusual and christmassy names for our three bears, which are all up for grabs. 

December 2025

The 1st December was our school enterprise event, taking place in the hall after school had finished. The names of all three bears were successfully guessed and will be handed out on Thursday and Friday. The event had a great turnout and thank you to all those who attended. Two school council members who were visiting even jumped onto the stall to help without being asked and stayed to help pack up! What a great team we have!
