It is Baby Bear's birthday week!

We have lots of challenges to complete to help him celebrate.  We will be making homes for him and the other bears in our big block area, creating obstacle courses for him to use at his party, writing in his cards and also making cakes!

In our literacy we are continuing with our sound investigations and learning more sounds as well as reading our guided reading books in preparation for bringing them home.  In maths we are finding out how to count very carefully and we are also solving some challenges related to this.

Please use the home link information above to support consolidation of learning at home and if you have any questions, please email Mrs Stevens on pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk

Look at some of the homes we made for the 3 bears.... we had to ensure we had everything that they needed!  We worked together and helped each other.  We are getting VERY good at listening to the ideas of our friends.

As part of our celebrations for Baby Bear's birthday we have been making him the BEST EVER obstacle course for his party!  We had to work with our friends and come up with some fabulous ideas to balance carefully!  See our wonderful creations below:

Baby Bear has been so very pleased with all the wonderful things that we have been making so he asked Mummy and Daddy Bear if we could have some of his birthday cupcakes too!  We worked with Mrs Attrill and Mrs Simpson to read the instructions, get the ingredients and make the cakes.  We then had to ice them before we were able to enjoy them!  Thank you Baby Bear!
