This is the last week of the first half term in Reception and it is a busy one!
We are looking forward to sharing our harvest celebrations with our families on Monday with an opportunity to explore and enjoy our classroom afterwards. We are also making our diaries this week which we will start writing after half term.
We have worked extremely hard this half term with lots of different activities, challenges and especially in becoming the wonderful team that is Pine Class.
Our adults are all very proud of us and want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support in settling the children into their school life. Parents evenings are also taking place this week to discuss the fabulous progress that the children have made.
Please see the home link document above to support learning and home and if you would like more information, please email Mrs Stevens on pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk
Creating a Trike Track Story
We were given a task to create a story for the 3 bears in our trike track area. We decided together that they would need an area to fix the trikes if they were broken, an area to be the home of the bears and also an area to be where they could order some food. We needed the food area as they must get fed up with porridge! We then worked in groups to share the trikes and use all the areas. We were VERY good at taking it in turns and made up some fabulous stories. Baby Bear needed to get to the beach quickly so needed the trikes to be fixed and also to get a picnic! We needed pasta and chicken nuggets as it was a 'glorious' day!
We have loved our new song, all about 5 hippos!
We have been extremely proud of all our hard work this half term and our amazing Harvest Assembly - after which we have been exploring the pumpkins!
