This week we are busy being helpers. We are looking after the ducklings and making sure that they are ready to return to Percy for his pond. Once of the things that we are doing is to help them find out about swimming so we made them a pond in our outside area. We have also been finding out about how to draw a duck in our drawing club session.
In our literacy we read the new story 'The Treasure Hunt'. It was very funny so we wanted to make our own! We are focusing on writing captions to give directions to find the treasure.
In maths we are looking at doubling and also sharing, making sure that we are confident in all the concepts.

We have really enjoyed looking after the ducklings. We have been reading them stories, watching them eat and drink and have even given them their first swim!
We even had time for some challenges.....
