Pumpkins!
Our young artists in years 5 and 6 have been developing their watercolour skills by painting their very own pumpkins!
The children have been learning how to use shadows and highlights to make their pumpkins look more realistic and three-dimensional. They carefully considered where the light would fall on their pumpkins, using lighter shades to create highlights and darker tones to add shadows and depth.
Everyone has been experimenting with different watercolour techniques, blending colours and building up layers to bring their artwork to life. We have been so impressed with the children's creativity, patience and attention to detail!
