Applying for Secondary School Transport
Your child will be transferring to secondary school in September and you may need to consider organising school transport if your child is eligible.
Unless you have already applied, you can apply online at www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/education/transport.
It is advisable to make an application soon and before the end of this term, to ensure your application can be processed in plenty of time.
Secondary School - Transition Days Transport
Cambridgeshire County Council have advised that unlike in previous years, they will not be able to provide or offer the use of Local Authority-provided transport for those pupils due to transfer to secondary school in September for any "transition days secondary schools may be planning".
This is due to the need to follow Covid-19 safety measures to minimise the potential to spread infection, which means transport to one school or base for the remainder of this academic year.
