Year 5 & 6 Shine at Cricket Festival
Our Year 5 and 6 boys' and girls' cricket teams recently represented the school at a cricket festival held at March Cricket Club, and what a fantastic day it was!
The boys displayed excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition, finishing in an impressive second place against strong opposition.
The girls were outstanding, winning every single match to become the overall festival champions. Their skill, teamwork and positive attitude were exceptional from start to finish. As winners of the festival, the girls proudly brought home the champions' trophy.
To recognise their fantastic efforts, every child who took part received a medal, celebrating their commitment, teamwork and excellent performances throughout the day.
The adults attending the festival commented on how well our pupils conducted themselves, saying they were a real credit to the school. We are incredibly proud of every child who represented the school so brilliantly, demonstrating our values both on and off the field.
