  • A Brilliant Day of Cricket Fun for National Cricket Day! 🏏

Thu 23 Apr 2026 Mr Bishop

We had a fantastic time celebrating National Cricket Day at school! Each class enjoyed a special cricket lesson led by Mr Bishop, where the children took part in a variety of fun and engaging activities.

Throughout the day, pupils developed their skills in catching, throwing and batting through a range of exciting games. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, teamwork and determination on display, with all children getting fully involved and supporting one another.

The sessions not only helped build confidence but also allowed the children to learn lots of new cricket skills in an enjoyable and active way. Most importantly, everyone had lots of fun!

If your child would like to continue developing their cricket skills, there are excellent opportunities available locally at Chatteris Cricket Club and March Cricket Club, which offer sessions for children aged 5–11.

We look forward to seeing some future cricket stars in the making! 🌟

She spoke openly about the challenges she has faced, the resilience required to succeed, and her exciting ambitions for the future.
