Pond Dipping Bingo
£110 has been donated to the school from the bingo session arranged by Sabrina and Ian Woodard. We will be using these funds to purchase pond dipping equipment for all our children to take part in pond dipping at Manea Pit. We are very grateful to all those who raised this money and look forward to exciting times ahead!
Science week at Manea Primary School will take place during the week of Monday 27th April. We are celebrating by all children across the school carrying out investigations. They will then have the opportunity to showcase their work at a special science marketplace led by each class, which will be held during the afternoon of Friday 8th May, with an invitation for parents to visit at 3 – 3.30pm. We hope that you are able to join us. The highlight of the week is a ‘special delivery’ on Monday 27th April, with an ‘arrival’ on Wednesday 29th April! Wait for the news from your children!
Today the children of Manea Community Primary School and the parents and carers of Pine class pupils, were treated to a very entertaining assembly. The children of Pine class have been learning all about dinosaurs. They have also been reading 'We're Going On ‘A Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen. As part of their learning the children decided to re-write the tale and showed us their adventures of going on a dinosaur hunt. Pine class have been working really hard and their efforts have definitely paid off!
Well done Pine Class!

This week we were visited by Fossils Galore. The children in reception and KS1 were given the opportunity to become paleontologists and dig for fossils. They were also found out some useful information about some dinosaurs and find out just how close some dinosaurs have been found.
Check out the Fossil Rock Anthem!
