Reception celebrating Chinese New Year

Y5 & 6 Football team win!
Sun 02 Feb 2025A team of nine Year 5 and Year 6 students represented Manea Primary at a football festival hosted by Westwood Primary in March. Competing in a round-robin format against six other schools, the team demonstrated exceptional teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship—ultimately securing victory!
Every player contributed to the team's success, showcasing the key attributes of a strong and cohesive squad. A special commendation goes to Elliot, who delivered an outstanding performance by scoring eight goals throughout the afternoon.
We are incredibly proud of the team's achievement and look forward to our next festival in March

LKS2 Times tables
Sun 19 Jan 2025Mr. Bishop and Mr. Lenton-Boon are delighted to share an update on the progress of our times tables work with our wider community.
Each day, children in Years 3 and 4 participate in a 15-minute times table intervention, focusing on mastering a specific times table each week. This dedicated practice has proven highly beneficial, with pupils demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to their learning. Their positive attitude and determination have been truly inspiring, and we are thrilled to see so many children progressing to the next level each week.
Well done, Years 3 and 4!

Nativity and Carol Concert

Creating for the 3 Little Pigs

MJS Construction Books
Wed 13 Nov 2024This week, Manea school were delighted to receive a box full of construction related books, donated by MJS Construction. Rebecca, who works for MJS Construction, came into school and presented the books to KS1 children in a special assembly. She also talked all about different construction jobs and roles. We finished the assembly by reading Diggersaurs, one of the lovely new books. The books are in a Topic Box, with a hard hat, hi-vis jacket and some safety goggles for the children to role-play with. We are excited to pass the topic box around the classes, to allow all children to explore. Thank you, MJS Construction!

African Drumming Workshop
