This week, Manea school were delighted to receive a box full of construction related books, donated by MJS Construction. Rebecca, who works for MJS Construction, came into school and presented the books to KS1 children in a special assembly. She also talked all about different construction jobs and roles. We finished the assembly by reading Diggersaurs, one of the lovely new books. The books are in a Topic Box, with a hard hat, hi-vis jacket and some safety goggles for the children to role-play with. We are excited to pass the topic box around the classes, to allow all children to explore. Thank you, MJS Construction!
Children across the school took part in an African Drumming workshop today. They all enjoy learning about the different rhythms found across Africa.
