Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
The children all slept well last night and have had a lovely morning taking part in various activities. They have all had a nice lunch and are now ready to have lots of fun this afternoon!
21.45- We have had a lovely first day at the residential. The children have participated in their first group activities, settled into their rooms, and spent the evening completing orienteering activities with hot chocolate. Everybody is settled in bed after a busy day!
(Updates can only happen during school hours as we do not have access to the school website (Internet signal is limited too) and we are busy having lots of fun- and getting very muddy too! Also, we will not be able to upload photos untill next week.)
We have arrived safely at Grafham water and are unpacking in our rooms before starting our afternoon activities!
This week, year 3 and 4 have been enjoying getting competitive on TTRockstars!
The children are having weekly tournaments. The first saw year three take on year 4. It was close but year 4 took the win this week!
Our top players were:
Max Ramsey
Spider McKinon
Tyler Forte!
Our current tournament is year group vs teacher!
A young lady in year 5 has raised a massive £260 for our school library. It was part of her Guide fundraising badge.
Well done and thank you for all your hard work on your 6 mile walk around the village.
We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Silver Mark Award for the 2023/24 academic year!
As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.
We look forward to applying once again in 2025!
Reception have been very busy in their forest school sessions. They have cut willow, bent it, tied it and then added string decorations. They have then added a bead and a feather from Percy the Park Keeper's ducks! They are very proud of their 'dream catchers' and are looking forward to taking them home.
This week KS1 children had a wonderful time sharing their End of Year production with their families. They created a talent show to showcase all of our favourite moments from the last year. Than you to all who came to support the children, I am sure you will agree they were wonderful!
The reception children are working very hard to help look after the ducklings! They have been watching them hatch and grow, ensuring that they have enough food and water and then telling them stories!
Please see the class page for more information and we hope that you will come to the science marketplace to see even more of our wonderful work!
Today, we all had a fun-filled, energetic morning completing our circuit with Sean and Ian. All of the children had a great time! See the photos for some of the things that we did.
